I’m finally sharing my all time favorite snack, peanut butter protein balls. If you know me at all, you know peanut butter is my love language. Put peanut butter and  chocolate together and I am in absolute heaven. This delicious healthy snack helps me control my sweet tooth and keeps my cravings at bay. I usually get a craving for something sweet in the afternoon around lunch. But if I give in and eat a cookie or something, I find myself grabbing them the rest of the day. Since I try my best to eat treats in moderation, these protein balls have helped me do just that. Instead of a cookie I grab some protein balls and it totally satisfies my sweet tooth. These don’t have added sugar either so I’m not craving sweets for the rest of the day either. It’s definitely a win/win.

With only 5 simple ingredients, it just doesn’t get easier than these. To be honest, if I’m in a hurry I don’t even roll them into balls. I will just leave all the mix together and put it in a container.  Then I spoon some out when I’m ready to eat it. I make these protein balls every single week and my whole family loves them.

Peanut Butter Protein Balls

-500 g or 2 cups peanut butter or any nut butter

-200 g or 1 cup honey

-100 g or 4 scoops chocolate protein powder (I use this one)

-240 g or 3 cups oats (I use old fashioned)

-pinch of salt

Put ingredients in a bowl in this order. I like to mix these in my kitchen aid. It makes everything so fast and easy. Mix until well blended. You can add in other things like chocolate chips, coconut, flax seeds, etc. You can roll them into balls or leave it all combined to save time. Store in the fridge for up to a week (if they last that long because they are delicious).
