Low Fat Alfredo Sauce

I am so excited to share this recipe. Since the beginning of my health journey, I have been on the hunt for a delicious low fat alfredo sauce. I am not a huge fan of Alfredo sauce out of the jar but I don’t always have time to make a big batch of homemade sauce. This light Alfredo sauce is easy and quick. It only requires a few ingredients which is always a plus for me. Not only do I love it on pasta, but I have tried it on my Chicken Bacon Alfredo Pizza and it turned out great! I wish I could remember where I found it so I can give credit. I had a screen shot of it on my phone but it didn’t show where I found it.

When you try this sauce, make sure you don’t leave out the garlic! It’s everything in this sauce. Call me an amateur, but I just barely got a garlic press  and it honestly makes my life SO much easier. I was mincing the garlic by hand. It’s something I’m very passionate about. You could also use bone broth in place of the chicken broth. I’ve been adding it to a lot of my recipes because of all of the amazing health benefits. I love this brand HERE that is sold at Costco. Alright, let’s get to it.

Low fat Alfredo Sauce Ingredients:

 

-2 wedges of light laughing cow cheese
-1-2 cloves garlic
1/3 c. chicken or bone broth

Method:

Add laughing cow to pan on low heat and break up into little pieces. Add chicken broth and mix til smooth. Mince garlic and add in. Bring to a simmer while constantly mixing then lower the heat and allow to thicken.
